Thank you for your never ending friendship and faith...I will never forget you and the many memories shared for you have richly blessed my life...
My Condolences / Jose Benitez (Marine that servied under his command (MI) )
My deepest condolences to the family. I knew Capt Peterson when we were stationed in Detroit 99-02. Capt Peterson was a good man and I was proud to service under is command. I had never served for an officer who cared as much as he did. He will be truley miss. The best memory I have of him 'which is till hanging on my wall' is, at one our Marine Corps balls we convience him to have a drink with his supply shop and one of the Marines has him literly by the neck to take a picture with us. May god bless you. Semper Fidelis!

Justin, You made friendship effortless. You taught me the importance of nonsense. You tore down my walls with a laugh and built bridges with a smile. My life is immeasurably richer because of you. Thank you for living with courage and joy. Thank you for showing me how Philippians 3:13 works. Thank you for letting me know you. Close

I am from Farmington and I sponsor a yearly Fundraiser for injured veterans returning from the War. So this is one person that appreciates what our soldiers (Marines) are doing for us.
It hits me inside everytime I read one of these stories. Obviously words are hard to come by at times like this. Suffice it to say the family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
If there is anything that can be done to help during the holidays (gifts for baby, etc.), please don't hesitate to e mail me.
Our deepest sympathy / Barb &. Gary LaPointe (Friend of family )
Our hearts ache for Patty and all of the Peterson family. Of the few times we saw Justin, we could see that he was a great guy, proud father and husband and an honorable man. You have our deepest sympathy. Justin was proud to serve this Country and for that, he has our heartfelt thanks and respect. I saw a bumper sticker that read "America, home of the free....because of the brave" that was Justin. God's peace and love be with you all. Gary & Barb LaPointe Close
My Deepest Sympathy / Don Harlow (Friend)
Dear Family,
Words cannot tell you how sorry I am for your loss. May God comfort you now and may His angels be with you in legions. You are all in our hearts and prayers.
Justin and I have been friends since we were lieutenants together at Cherry Point. There was never a finer Marine, family man, or friend. He could always brighten your day with a joke or a smile; it was impossible not to laugh when you were with Justin.
Though you have suffered a terrible loss, please know that you have gained a family of Marines that embrace you today. You are not alone. We are all here for you.
With deepest sympathy and respect, Don Harlow and Family Close

For one who has spent 35 years speaking to audiences of all sizes, suddenly my vocabulary seems woefully inadequate to express either the heartache or the pride that overwhelms our extended family. We will never forget the pride of the parade deck at MCRD San Diego when we heard that first "Good morning, MARINES!" when you graduated from boot camp. Our sense of justifiable pride has only grown through the years with each promotion and award. That pride was not dashed by your death as you made the supreme sacrifice as a citizen, as a son, as a Marine. To know that you lived - in life and in death - the values and principles that your mother and I endeavored to instill in you only augments the value of your life - to us as your parents, to the country that you served, and to the those who will experience the freedoms that you have helped to secure. - Love, Dad

A Gandparents' Love / Don And Libby Woodworth (Grandparents)
We have just experienced the greatest loss in a lifetime of 79 years. You were our first grandson, the joy of our life. We watched you grow through the various stages of life, becoming a Christian by trusting in Christ, a lettered athlete, completing your college education and then becoming an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
We are so pleased that God gave you a wonderful life and three precious children. You and your lovely family have made us so happy and became our closest friends.
Now you have been taken from us and we are so saddened. We grieve, but not without hope, because we know that we shall be together again soon. Until then, we will share the fondest memories of our lives together.
You gave your life, your honor, and your courage for the United States of America. You will be greatly missed by your family and Marines. / A. Marine (The Entire USMC )Read >>
